The Yuchang Tunnel on Taiwan's Provincial Highway No. 30 is scheduled to undergo essential high-voltage equipment maintenance. During this period, the tunnel's power supply will be temporarily interrupted, meaning the internal lighting systems will be non-operational.

The Bureau of Highways, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Eastern Region Maintenance Engineering Office, Yuli Maintenance Section, is issuing a public advisory. They strongly urge all drivers and pedestrians intending to pass through the Yuchang Tunnel to activate their headlights or carry their own lighting devices for safe passage.

Individuals without adequate lighting equipment are advised not to enter the tunnel during the maintenance period to ensure their safety and prevent potential hazards.
