Taiwan High Speed Rail Opens Holiday Ticket Sales for Extended Festive Period

Bookings for Teacher's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day travel now available.

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC) announced that tickets for an extended 18-day travel period, encompassing Teacher's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, will be available for purchase starting at midnight tonight.

This upcoming period, from September 26 to October 13, marks the longest holiday travel season THSRC has ever managed.

The company has enhanced its ticketing system, which is now capable of supporting up to 38,000 simultaneous bookings, a significant upgrade from previous periods.

This increased capacity is approximately 1.7 times greater than during the Lunar New Year sales earlier this year, when the system handled 22,000 concurrent users.

Passengers can secure their tickets for the entire 18-day holiday period through THSRC's online booking system, the T Express Mobile App, convenience stores, as well as at station counters and ticket machines.
