The administration highlighted that developing convective clouds are likely to bring short-duration, intense rainfall. Today, localized heavy rain is expected in the greater Taipei area, central Taiwan, and the mountainous regions of northern, southern, and Yilan. Residents are advised to be aware of lightning strikes and strong gusts of wind.
