A notable concern was the rapid rise in water levels of the Taiping River, adjacent to the Renyi North Road embankment. Residents were alerted to move their vehicles parked near the embankment as the river's surge posed a risk.

Photos shared by users on a local disaster notification group depicted numerous cars parked along the Renyi North Road embankment. The urgent message conveyed was for vehicle owners to promptly relocate their cars due to the escalating Taiping River.
